EU PROJECTS / IMPLEMENTATION OF ALTERNATIVE FUEL SOLUTIONS

←

The aim of the project is to replace diesel-fired furnaces with heat pumps and additional equipment to generate the electricity required by the heat pumps from renewable sources. The project provides for the installation of two heat pumps with a capacity of 67.1 kW each (134.2 kW in total) and a 99 kW solar power plant. This will allow the company to use the electricity generated for its own needs and reduce fossil fuel consumption in its operations, thereby lowering the industrial company’s greenhouse gas emissions.

The project will contribute to more efficient energy use and the introduction of environmentally friendly, resource-saving measures and technologies in industrial companies. It will help mitigate the impact of Lithuanian industry on climate change, address air pollution and efficient resource use, and reduce dependence on energy imports.

The project is co-financed by the European Union. Total project value: EUR 371,580.00; EU funding: EUR 315,843.00. Project period: 02/2024–08/2026.
